Teaching Personnel London are seeking to expand our workforce of Specialist Teaching Assistants, looking to persue a career in Specialist Schools and Provisions, specifically supporting young people with additional needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse needs, including Autism and Learning Disabilities
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (EHCPs) under the guidance of qualified professionals.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure the holistic development of each student.
  • Promote independence and social skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.

Experience working with young people or those with additional needs is beneficial however we are keen to hear from all those with a passion for supporting in a school based setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
