  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom setting
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Help students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy
  • Support students in developing social and communication skills
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support students

  • Knowledge of special educational needs and strategies to support students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Training in behaviour management techniques
  • Work in a classroom setting within a school environment
  • Full-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
